Amy Page is beginning a new role as a District Judge for the Cherokee Nation. She began her career at Child Support Services, trying cases in Oklahoma district courts. Over time, her role shifted and she handled child support appellate and policy matters statewide. While at Child Support Services, Amy played a pivotal role in drafting Oklahoma’s child support and paternity statutes. Her 2009 publication, “The New Child Support Guidelines: What You Need to Know about Changes to the Guidelines Statute,” has been relied on by parents, attorneys and trial and appellate judges across the State of Oklahoma.
Amy entered private practice in 2017. Alongside Aaron Bundy and Kathleen Egan, Amy completed advanced trial skills training through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. While in private practice, she put her skills to work: advising clients and trying divorce, child custody and protective order cases across northeastern Oklahoma.
Amy was sworn in as a judge on January 11, 2021. There are few attorneys as qualified to be a judge as Amy Page. She has a broad range of training and meaningful trial and appellate experience, all of which give her the insight and perspective necessary to make good judicial decisions. She will be an asset to the Cherokee Nation and its citizens.
