Bundy serves as co-counsel and trial counsel for attorneys and firms whose clients face family law matters beyond their usual practice. The matters that come to us this way are typically high-conflict, involve business or significant property questions, cross state or national borders, or are approaching trial.
We work in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, and we are also licensed in New York, the District of Columbia, and before the United States Tax Court. Aaron Bundy and Kathleen Egan are fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and Aaron is also a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. We are part of the network of family law practitioners these credentials connect us to, in this country and abroad.
Attorneys in other states retain us regularly to handle discovery under the Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act, to address jurisdictional disputes that touch our states, and to handle the family law dimensions of matters whose primary case is elsewhere. We are familiar with the procedural questions these matters raise and with the courts in our jurisdictions where they are heard.
When we accept a case as co-counsel, we are clear from the beginning about the division of work, the communication with the client, and the fee arrangement. Referring attorneys can expect direct conversation about what we will do, what they will continue to do, and how the case will be billed. Surprises are not part of how we work with the lawyers who bring us cases.
When we are retained as co-counsel, we step in, do the work the case requires, and step out. The relationship between you and your client is yours. We are there to handle the matter, not to take the client.

We do not poach clients. If you partner with us, we will always promote your work and relationship with the client. Once our scope of work is complete, the matter and the client are handed back to you.
